The Rain Closet, Portable Shower Enclosure
 
If you looking for an environmentally friendly portable shower enclosure, for your camp/glampsite, festival or offgrid home then our Rain Closet maybe just what you need.
 
Designed to be in keeping and compatible with our Original Outhouse the Rain Closet is built on a pallet type base and uses a mix or reclaimed and responsibly source timber, and our sunroof design. With the care and attention we put into sourcing the most eco friendly paints, adhesives and fixings possible we believe our Outhouses and Rain Closets are some of the greenest units available.
 
Its footprint is 1 m x 1.2 m so its silently bigger than our Outhouses and taller as well with around 2 m of head height inside at the highest point. We've positioned the door on the side to allow a corner with max head height for a shower head. Inside there is a bench at the rear for changing and a shower curtain keeps that area dry while the shower is in use.
 
You can purchase your Rain Closet with or without a shower tray and interior cladding. As all of the timber is treated the unit can be used without cladding and a tray just fine with water simply draining out the bottom on to the floor or into a soak away, however interior cladding and a tray make it a little kinder to the feet and will undoubtedly protect your investment. As well as prolonging the life of your Rain Closet and making it much easier to keep clean, by installing cladding and a tray, waste water can be piped away just like at home in to a drain or a suitable soak away area.
 
The Rain Closet is just a shower cubicle it DOES NOT come fitted with a shower nor can we fit, gas or electric showers, you will need to find a qualified trades person to install one of these for you. We do offer a simple hand pump shower which is designed to save water and is ideal in off grid situations, please speak to us if this sounds like something that interests you.
 
Delivery & Timescales
 
You can book your build slot and est delivery date with just £100 deposit per unit, the balance will be due before or upon delivery, if we are installing it. Our average lead time is 6 weeks

Unlike the majority of our competition our units come ready built, almost complete needing little assembly to see what’s involved we are more than happy to send you the instructions in advance.
